Important Message re: Briarhills Amenities and Use

The Covid-19 virus is a rapidly growing threat with thousands of new cases in the US each day and over 30 confirmed cases in Harris County. The Briarhills POA Board would like to minimize the risk to the community in ways that it can control so effectively immediately the Briarhills Community Center will be closed for all events and all community events are postponed. This decision is based on CDC and White House guidance to:
- Avoid social gatherings in groups of more than 10 people.
- Avoid leaving home except for the most essential needs
In addition, the Briarhills POA does not have the resources to properly disinfect and sanitize the Community Center between events. Any fees and deposits for planned events will be refunded in full.
At this time the playground, pool, fields, tennis courts and basketball court will remain open, but we ask that you respect all government guidance around interactions in public.
These are difficult times but we will get through this together.
