Briarhills neighbors, Erin & Blaine Wallace, were tired of the overgrown and neglected City of Houston median at Briarhills Parkway & Hwy 6. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, they decided to do something about it! They bought landscaping border and a few plants and got to work digging up weeds and planting the new plants. The next thing they knew, cars were stopping wanting to know how they could help. Another couple from Terraces on Memorial left and came back with weed barrier, mulch and a few more plants. Another Briarhills resident, showed up with a shovel ready to be put to work! Erin hopes more residents will feel inspired to contribute and that one day the median will be thriving with beautiful plants and flowers. Thank you, Erin & Blaine!
